AIM started monitoring outdoor advertising expenditure in 2011. The monitoring of all outdoor sites are done via photo-taking every quarter. These photographs coupled with an integrated research system built specifically for AIM, allows us to fully utilize the acquired data. From each photograph, we compile information such as type of format, size, location, media owner, advertiser, brand, product, as well as cost for rental, lighting and production. A total of 26 types of data are collected from each OOH advertising photo.
